Legacy represents a new chapter for the Marvel Universe, and you can get up to speed on the big event with the new teaser trailer

The teaser trailer previews Marvel Legacy #1, which kicks things off in a huge way and will ultimately plot the course for Marvel’s 2018 and beyond.
“We open at the dawn of time and we see the formation of the earliest group of super beings, the Avengers of 1,000,000,000 B.C. Marvel Legacy is a sweeping all encompassing epic that sets up keys off mysteries and secrets and surprises and storylines,” SVP of Publishing Tom Brevoort says. “It is your one must buy comic. The seeds that we’re planting in the Marvel Legacy #1 one-shot are intended to grow and flourish all the way on into the future. There’s stuff that happens here, in thks singular one shot that people will still be talking about and referring back to years from now.”
While the iconic heroes of the past are making their way into the spotlight, that doesn’t mean modern era characters like Ms. Marvel, Spider-Gwen, Ironheart, and Amadeus Cho are going away.
“The Legacy era will usher in the return of some of your favorite classic characters, but not at the expense of the new characters we’ve recently fallen in love with,” reveals Marvel editor in chief Axel Alonso. “Legacy will show you over time that there’s room for Peter Parker and Miles Morales. The question is what roads are they going to travel.”
Marvel is laying the foundation for Marvel Legacy #1 in their Generations books, which reunite the classic interpretations of characters like Hulk, Phoenix, Wolverine, Thor, Hawkeye, and more with their modern versions. Many of those characters will be making their way back in some form or fashion, but the good news is that newer fans can rest easy knowing their favorites aren’t going anywhere.
