For longtime X-Force fans, Marvel and Rob Liefeld have something in their new graphic novel Deadpool: Bad Blood that will harken back to the group’s 90’s roots, including the wonderful camaraderie between beloved characters like Deadpool, Cable, Shatterstar, and of course Domino. Fans will get a big glimpse at what’s to come in a new first look panel at WonderCon.

The panel will take place at WonderCon in Anaheim, California on April 1st, and will give readers a first look at the much-anticipated graphic novel, moderated by Marvel creative director Brian Crosby. There will also be a Q&A with Rob after the panel.
ComicBook.com had the chance to speak to Liefeld about what they can expect to see, and the good news is Domino is a major part of the equation. In fact, she happens to be one of the most exciting parts of the book that he gets to share, with Liefeld saying “You know what, I’m actually, now that Zazie Beetz has been cast as Domino I’m excited to reveal just how much Domino is in our book. And there are some key … I mean she is very much supporting player in Bad Blood and I have been kind of purposely not showing any of that stuff and because some of it will, some of it’s spoilerific but I think we’re going to peel back that layer and definitely show people some of the crazy Domino stuff that we have in Bad Blood.”
These characters have always resonated with Liefeld, as they have with many fans. It’s part of the reason that why years later X-Force continues to be a relevant brand. “Those characters, that’s why they’re given so much run. I truly believe the sweet spot of the book for a lot of people will be the flashback into 1991. And again, I think Chad and Chris were flipping out cause “you can’t wait to the end to tell me.” He was good, he kind of hinted. Chad Bowers told me at the end, “You don’t understand, how much I lobbied to get this because Dude, when I was 13 …” and again he always wanted to make somebody feel extra old telling them how young they were when they bought, when you were an adult and they were a child but he loved X-Force #1 and all these characters so being able to jam with him and especially on that, there are throw backs, there are definite throw … recalls to X-Force number 1 in Deadpool Bad Blood. So if you bought X-Force I and that was your jam then your gonna have some fuzzy feelings from Bad Blood.”
So if happen to be at WonderCon you’ll want to grab your seat when the panel starts at 4 pm, and you can view a preview of the book in the gallery. Deadpool: Bad Blood is written by Liefeld, Chris Sims, and Chad Bowers, with art by Liefeld. It hits comic shops on May 17th.
