The photo features Henry Zaga, Maisie Williams, and Charlie Heaton, with Blu Hunt also tagged yet not seen. The actors will play Sunspot, Wolfsbane, Cannonball, and Dani Moonstar respectively. It’s pretty cool to see stars from HBO’s Game of Thrones and Netflix’s Stranger Things and 13 Reasons Why all hanging out in the same photo, gearing us up for the awesomeness that will be New Mutants.

Josh Boone, who directed the Fault In Our Stars, is set to start production with the cast and crew of the film on July 10 with a release date in the spring of 2018.

The director has previously described the New Mutants as a “full-fledged horror” movie set in the X-Men universe, starring young adults without costumes.

New Mutants is being directed by Boone, from a script he co-wrote with Knate Lee. Filming is said to begin in Boston in July.

The New Mutants were the first ever X-Men spinoff comic book series. Created by Chris Claremont and Bob McLeod in 1982, the series saw Professor X recruiting a new class of young mutants for his school for gifted youngsters at a time when he believed the X-Men were dead.

X-Men: New Mutants opens in theaters April 13, 2018.
