When it comes to giving fan-service, Robert Downey Jr. is a pro. The actor has become a go-to role model for how to approach fandoms since he was cast as Iron Man. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has thrived off Downey’s take on Tony Stark since the hero debuted back in 2008, and the billionaire is more relevant today than ever before. This year, Downey will reprise his famous role in Spider-Man: Homecoming alongside British native Tom Holland. Not long ago, Downey commemorated his work with Holland as well as Jon Favreau with a mysterious behind-the-scenes-photo.

Taking to Instagram, Downey shared an photo with followers which sees him posing next to Holland Favreau. “Killer trio,” the actor captioned the photo, hinting that the image came from a secret shoot he did with the pair recently. In the still, Downey is seen dressed somewhat eccentrically, but the striped pants are undoubtedly Stark’s brand of fashion. Holland looks casual enough to make Peter Parker proud, and Favreau is dressed in a suit that would make Happy Hogan – well – happy.
There’s no word on what this secret shoot was about, but fans do know it would’ve been done for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Downey mentions the film in his hashtags, and reshoots for the feature have been done on-and-off as of late.
