Ahead of Tuesday’s Doctor Strange release on digital HD, we’ve been treated to loads of extras that will accompany the film and its home release. In prior deleted scenes, we’ve seen Kaecilius partake in the ritual to bring Dormammu to Earth only to turn around and murder a priest.

Thanks to USA Today, we get our look at a much less grim deleted scene where a down-and-out Stephen Strange shows compassion to a stray dog on the streets of Katmandu. The deleted scene, which can be seen in its entirety below, shows Strange attend to a dog with an injured leg. Strange takes the time to break a stick to use a splint before wrapping the dog’s leg in makeshift gauze.
The deleted scene takes place immediately before the former neurosurgeon is mugged by a pair of Katmandu’s thugs shortly before we’re introduced to Baron Mordo.
