The character has been teased as a part of the series, with set photos showing a giant dog-statue as a stand-in for the CGI character. Those in attendance Tuesday got to see the finalized version of Lockjaw, and they were LOVING it.

Unfortunately, ABC hasn’t released the trailer, or the first look at Lockjaw, online. It’s currently an exclusive treat for those who witnessed it live. However, it’s certain the network will debut it to the world soon enough.

Now that fans finally have a glimpse at what the show will look like, you should also know where the Royal family finds themselves when the series begins. Showrunner Scott Buck revealed to EW that the Inhumans are at a significant fork in the road. “Basically we’re telling a story about a family at a very critical juncture in their lives. When we meet up with them, we’re going to find that pretty much everything they’ve ever known is at risk.” Buck also touched on what makes him nervous about the show. “It’s big. I’m used to writing โ€” and what I’m best at โ€” slightly smaller character dramas. This is a show that I have to stretch myself and think a little bit bigger at times, so that’s been the biggest challenge for me.”

“After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.”

Marvel’s Inhumans stars Anson Mount (Black Bolt), Serinda Swan (Medusa), Ken Leung (Karnak), Isabelle Cornish (Crystal), Eme Ikwuakor (Gorgon), Iwan Rheon (Maximus), Sonya Balmores (Auran), Mike Moh (Triton), and Ellen Woglom).

Marvel’s Inhumans will premiere the first two episodes in IMAX on September 1. The full series will debut on ABC later this fall.
