Thor: Ragnarok is being widely praised as the hero’s greatest solo outing yet, but the film did not just focus on the God of Thunder. The sequel birthed a few breakout characters thanks to Korg and Valkyrie. Hela has become known as one of Marvel Studios’ best baddies yet, and you can now see how the vixen was originally designed.

Over on Twitter, Andy Park posted a piece of concept art he did for Thor: Ragnarok. The lead artist shared a dark, shadowy take on Hela as the Goddess of Death stands with a ghostly Fenrir behind her.

“An alternate Hela design I did was shown in a @VanityFair article w/ vfx supervisor Jake Morrison,” Park wrote.

As fans can see, Hela does not look too radically different from her on-screen look. The villain is still seen wearing her green body suit, and she is rocking an ornate headpiece. However, there are a few details changed; Hela has different patterning on her suit’s bodice, and she seems to have a misty green cloak waving behind her. The outfit is a bit darker than the canon-compliant one Cate Blanchett donned in the Thor sequel, but fans seem to be siding with how the star wound up looking.
