Every one of the heroes within the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be eager to slay Thanos when Avengers: Infinity War rolls around. The next big ensemble film from Marvel Studios will see the Avengers uniting with the Guardians of the Galaxy (and possibly Defenders, but no one really knows for sure) in an effort to stop the Mad Titan as he courts death through the universe.

As it stands, only the Guardians characters are aware of the angry purple titan’s existence. Odin may have heard the name but hasn’t felt the need to make mention of it to his son, yet. It’s the Guardians who have been effected by Thanos, seeing as they defeated his minion Ronan in their first outing and his torture of Gamora and Nebula in their upbringing tore the sisters apart.
When the time comes, each of the Avengers and Guardians will be eager to run their finger across Thanos’ throat (a metaphor for kill him).
For Zoe Saldana, the actress who plays Gamora in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, it’s a more intimate situation and she has a more selfless answer than co-star Dave Bautista when asked who she wants to see kill Thanos.
“Nebula,” Saldana said.
“I think that me, as his golden child, I sort of gave up,” Saldana added. “I’m done. I’m resolved. I wouldn’t want anybody else to put him in the place than the first person the struck and he hurt the most which is his kids. So, I would want Nebula to do it.”
In the Infinity Gauntlet storyline, Nebula plays a major part in her father’s downfall. It is Drax who has been credited with killing the villain most recently in the comics, though, which is a scenario Bautista can certainly get behind.
“I would love to go with my sister and kill daddy dearest,” Saldana joked when asked if the common goal could put the siblings back onto the same page, for once.
