McConaughey and Idris Elba, the two opposing forces in the film, went into a cryptic Twitter battle on Tuesday morning. It started when McConaughey asked Elba if he wanted The Tower, and the two exchanged ominous lines from the movie after that.
This culminated in the 15-second teaser being released on McConaughey’s account, with the message that the full trailer would be released at 9am PT on Wednesday.
Idris Elba came back with a teaser video of his own. Each of the two characters has a teaser that is unique to them, and fans are eager to see them go to battle in tomorrow’s trailer.
