Many of the characters from the beloved original are returning for the sequel, including a certain adorable talking snowman named Olaf. The cake-loving Snowman was one of the many highlights from the film, and now actor Josh Gad is finally back in the studio for another walk in his snowy shoes.

Gad posted a photo in the recording studio with Frozen directors and writers Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, accompanied by producer Peter del Vecho, and it seems things are finally getting underway.

Frozen still holds a special place in fan’s hearts, despite the fact that it has taken so long to get a sequel. It wasn’t for any shortage of desire on Disney‘s part to be fair, and during the downtime, the studio has utilized the characters and the world in the short film Frozen Fever and the upcoming Olaf’s Frozen Adventure. The former was shown in front of their live-action Cinderella, while the latter will debut in front of Pixar’s upcoming Coco.

Disney will welcome the box office boost from the sequel with open arms, as the original still brought in plenty of profit for the studio. Frozen was made on a budget of $150 million, and domestically alone brought in over $400 million. Worldwide, the film crushed with a haul of over $1.2 billion and sits at #9 on the all-time worldwide box office list.

So far the only cast confirmed for the sequel is Gad, Kristen Bell (Anna), and Idina Menzel (Elsa), though Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) and Alan Tudyk (Duke) will hopefully join them. Not much else is known about the project, but at least fans know their will be plenty more of Olaf, and for some that is worth the price of entry alone.

Frozen 2 hits theaters on November 27, 2019.
