Earlier today, director Michael Dougherty confirmed principal photography has ended on the Godzilla sequel. He took to Twitter to share the news with fans, captioning a cryptic photo with the message, “Last day.” The picture shows off what appears to be Dougherty’s work desk.

The director also posted another message celebrating the end of Godzilla‘s production. Dougherty shared a photo from set which showed off some Kaiju images. He then added the caption, “That’s a wrap. Thank you to my amazing cast and crew.”

If you have not kept up with Godzilla: King of the Monsters, then you should know the sequel boasts an all-star cast. Talent like Millie Bobbie Brown and Vera Farmiga will join the cast while other stars return. Sally Hawkins and Ken Watanabe will reprise their roles as Monarch scientists.

So far, there’s been very few updates about the sequel, but fans have learned more about the Godzilla follow-up this month. Last week, the director shared a rough image of what the monster will look like in the sequel. The 2014 reboot turned the Kaiju into something fans call “Fat Godzilla,” but the sequel will streamline the creature a bit more.

The rendered image which Dougherty shared isn’t a final one, but it does show off Godzilla’s bolstered appearance. The big guy looks more fortified than a tank, but he still has enough pudge to round himself out. For now, fans will have to wait and see just what Godzilla: King of the Monsters will do to is titular star. With the film expected to drop in March 2019, there’s still plenty of time for the studio to share a first-look at the returning Kaiju.

Godzilla: King of Monsters will be in theaters on March 22, 2019.
