Guardians Of The Galaxy, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, & The Flash Nominated For Hugo Awards

Comic book TV and movies had a pretty good showing at The Hugo Awards this year, as the nominations have been announced and The Flash, Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America: The Winter Soldier have all been nominated in their respective categories.

In a year where the nomination process for books has been marred by controversy, with novelist and comic book writer Paul Cornell tweeting prolifically today about what he believes is ballot manipulation and a need to change the way the Hugos are run, the TV and film categories have been relatively non-controversial so far.

The comics category was pretty predictable, with stalwart hit Saga being joined by acclaimed newcomers Sex Criminals, Ms Marvel and Rat Quens.
