Deadpool vs. Wolverine

Back in 2009, fans got to see Deadpool on the big screen for the first time in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. To say that fans were disappointed with the film, and its depiction of Deadpool in particular, would be an understatement. While Ryan Reynolds seemed like the perfect choice to play Wade Wilson, all of that potential was squandered when they decided to take the Merc with a Mouth's mouth away from him. Since then, fans have been begging for a solo Deadpool movie in the hopes that filmmakers could get it right the second time around. Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman would like to see that as well, and would like for Wolverine to be a part of it. "We sort of took a pretty strong choice on Deadpool," Jackman tells IGN, "where we kind of stitched him up. And I love the character of Deadpool and I think that the sort of badass, fast-talking, funny, annoying Deadpool vs Wolverine would still be cool. We've sort of done it, but I think we could have done that much better." Jackman and Deadpool's creator, Rob Liefeld, have both said previously that a script for a Deadpool move is floating around Hollywood, but nothing more definite than that has been revealed. X-Men: Days of Future Past comes to theaters May 23.
