Stan Lee Will Have a Cameo In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Report Says

In a sweeping set report that gives dozens of small, new details about the film, Collider reports that Stan Lee will have a cameo in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.As of this morning, Stan Lee said he had no idea about his prospective cameo in Joe and Anthony Russo’s anticipated superhero sequel.Since the Collider set visit was over the summer, it’s possible that plans fell through, and Lee’s cameo didn’t happen — but in any event, the Russo Brothers definitely planned on having him in the film when they spoke with reporters in late 2013.With the film hitting theaters in a two weeks or so in the U.K., it’s hard to picture any last-minute filming to fit him in, and fans questioned whether this might be the first Marvel Studios film without a cameo by the longtime face of the company.Lee has appeared in every Marvel Studios movie to date, as well as a number of Marvel-branded films produced and distributed by Fox and Sony. Films in which he appears include X-Men, Spider-Man, Daredevil, Hulk, Fantastic Four, X-Men: The Last Stand, Spider-Man 3, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Captain America: The First Avenger, Marvel’s The Avengers, The Amazing Spider-Man, Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World. He recently made a cameo appearance on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
