The Hubble Space Telescope has captured a timely photo that resembles, as they have dubbed it, "a cosmic lightsaber.
The photo, seen below, is actually of energized jets of gas, but with Star Wars: The Force Awakens hitting theaters, people are seeing Star Wars in all kinds of places.

Here's Hubble's description:
The two lightsabre-like streams crossing the image are jets of energised gas, ejected from the poles of a young star. If the jets collide with the surrounding gas and dust they can clear vast spaces, and create curved shock waves, seen as knotted clumps called Herbig-Haro objects.
Lightsabers are sure to clash in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Check out when this movie and other movies are coming out in ComicBook.com's Movie Release Schedule.
