Alison Sudol Cast In Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them

Alison Sudol has joined the cast of Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, according to a report from Entertainment Weekly. Sudol is a singer/actress who has appeared in Amazon's Transparent and USA's Dig.

Sudol will play Queenie, sister of Katherine Waterston's Tina, who both encounter Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) in New York.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is being written by Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling, and directed by Harry Potter movie veteran David Yates. The film is set 70 years before Harry's own adventures, and follows Scamander as he travels the world writing the in-universe textbook that the film takes its title from.
