In the latest set photo from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Marc Webb appears to have given up that the Federal Bureau of Investigation will play a role in the film. What role? It's difficult to say--certainly they could be looking into the events of the first film, examining Oscorp for future threats. Otherwise maybe they're investigating Spider-Man himself, which seems maybe a bit more likely given the fairly confrontational relationship the wall-crawler had with the New York Police Department in the first film. Either way, these actors aren't immediately familiar, so it's probably not likely that this particular pair of agents will play a huge role in the big-budget blockbuster. Early reports that the film would be shot (and take place) in London would certainly seem, if the FBI is playing a major role in the story, to be way off base.
