Flash fact: In a convention appearance in Dallas this weekend, Arrow star Stephen Amell revealed to a young fan that characters from Central City will make their way to Starling before the end of the show's second season. After posing for a photo with young Hunter, pictured above, he answered a question about upcoming episodes of Arrow and the show's connection to the upcoming pilot for The Flash. "I can tell you two things," Amell said when pressed for details as to what DC characters might appear on Arrow in 2014. "One, we will see another hero costume before the end of the season--and two, we will see people from Central City before the end of the season." Whether the two are connected or not--as in, whether it's Barry Allen who is seen in costume--isn't clear, although conventional wisdom is that now that there's a full pilot planned (rather than the backdoor pilot originally scheduled for this spring, viewers' first look at Barry will likely come in his own pilot rather than an episode of Arrow. There's also certainly no guarantee that whoever gets a new "hero costume" will be a new character to the series. So far, Roy Harper--now officially part of Team Arrow, as he's been brought in on Oliver's secret--hasn't got a costume or a superhero name yet. Arrow returns on February 26 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
