During tonight's broadcast of Star Wars Rebels, Disney/Marvel Studios released the first behind the scenes trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron. While it didn't contain the San Diego Comic Con footage that fans have been hoping for, it did feature a brief look at some of the props used in the movie and an interview with Chris Hemsworth.
“Without giving too much away of the story, well, I’m in it,” laughed Hemsworth. “Really, it’s pretty top secret.”
There is also some brief footage of what looks to be the side of an apartment complex exploding. And there is a meetup with executive producer Jeremy Latcham that doesn’t go very well.
Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is set to premiere in movie theaters on May 1, 2015.
