Even Superman knows that he's far from the center of DC's Cinematic Universe.

The Man of Steel himself, Henry Cavill, recently touched on Warner Bros.' grand scheme for their DC Comics franchise. AS Cavill elaborated, Warner Bros. may be more focused on hitting universal story beats than they are with the individual pictures themselves.

"There's a big plan in place at WB for the whole DC franchise. So, all of this stuff ties in. They're not thinking from movie to movie, they're thinking from a big tent pole type thing and each story has its own story, which is attached to the major issue," Cavill told Uproxx. "Yeah, there's a big plan."

Whatever the big plan may entail, it seems that more than anything else, DC Entertainment will use each of their superhero movies as vessels for exploring some grander architecture. Then again, Cavill isn't Zack Snyder, so it's hard to say how accurate his comments really are.

Bu what do you think Cavill's take on the DC Cinematic Universe? Let us know in the comments!
