Earlier this year, Comicbook.com was first to report that Warner Bros. owned the domain names BatmanVsSuperman.com and SupermanVsBatman.com, which they might use as possible movie titles for their Man Of Steel follow-up. Now, Fusible has noticed that Warner Bros. has recently registered a couple more domain names that could indicate a possible new title for the Batman and Superman movie.Based on the new domain registrations, other possible titles for the Batman and Superman movie now include “Man of Steel Battle the Knight”, “Man of Steel Beyond Darkness”, “Man of Steel Black of Knight”, “Man of Steel Darkness Falls”, “Man of Steel Knight Falls”, “Man of Steel Shadow of the Night”, “Man of Steel The Blackest Hour”, and “Man of Steel The Darkness Within”.The title Batman Vs. Superman caused quite a debate in the fan community. While some fans love the title, others felt that it sounded to much like a Freddy Vs. Jason movie. However, the new possible titles are long, confusing, and unlikely to pacify fans pushing for a World’s Finest title. In fact, it’s hard to imagine the new titles actually fitting well on a movie poster. The new names also probably wouldn’t test as well with the general public as something as straightforward as Batman Vs. Superman. It’s also possible that the domain names aren’t intended for the movie at all but could be titles for a possible tie-in video game for the movie.
