Conceptual artist Jonathan D. Kirtz has updated his website with Batmobile and Red Hood weaponry concept art he created for Rocksteady and WB Interactive Entertainment’s Batman: Arkham Knight.
“In May 2013, I was tasked by TriForce with doing 2nd iteration work on the Batmobile for the upcoming game, Batman: Arkham Knight, for PS4/X1/PC,” Kirtz wrote. “My objective was to take Rocksteady’s rough model and design a better looking Batmobile while keeping the main shaping and transforming capabilities; mostly a cosmetic job.”

Kirtz shared a selection of roughs, which include feedback from Rocksteady, so we can see what corrections and new designs he made along the way to the final design of the Batmobile. Aside from the body itself, we get detailed looks at the vehicle’s weaponry, front-and-rear ends, cockpit, and afterburner.
Then there are Kirtz’s awesome designs for Red Hood’s various weapons, such as dual pistols that transform into a rifle, grenade launcher, sniper rifle, futuristic assault gun and shotgun.
