Yomawari: Night Alone is a new title for the Playstation VITA, where you play a little girl searching for her sister and her dog in a monster-filled town.

After a night-time stroll walking her dog, your character encounters something outside the house that results in the loss of her dog, Poro. Her older sister leaves the house to go search for him, but never comes back. Now it's up to you to find Poro and your sister, but there is an evil presence in your town when midnight strikes, attempting to keep you from finding them.

You'll need to brave the darkness with only your flashlight in hand, avoiding and distracting the various entities you come across along the way while attempting to find clues and items that will help you in your search. You'll also be able to scout other locations later on, and you can hunt down urban legends on the billboard or at the garbage dump for clues to your sister's whereabouts.

The lovely yet stylized visuals are paired with a moody and tense soundtrack to generate an enviable amount of discomfort even in the trailer, and for VITA owners looking for something different, this might be just the thing.
