Captain America, Thor & Black Panther Get Awesome Fantasy Armor

If you are a fan of fantasy and superheroes, then it is about time you saw your worlds collide. While the two genres certainly aren’t exclusive to one another; Just look at Marvel’s Doctor Strange and you’ll see how the successful the crossover can be. Now, one online artist is taking some of Marvel’s most famous characters and giving them an all-out fantasy treatment that would make an World of Warcraft fan drool.

Over on DeviantArt, user Reza-ilyasa is a well-known artist who specializes in fantasy pieces. Their page is filled with both original work and adaptations where Reza reimagines characters from franchises like Star Wars. Earlier this fall, Reza posted several drawings which take heroes like Captain America, Thor, and Black Panther and turn them into fantasy masters.

When it comes to Captain America, the hero is given a full suit of armor that’s colored blue-and-white. There are red accents throughout and a large, white star can be seen embellished on his chest. His iconic shield has gotten a notable update as it’s blue coloring as been replaced for a reflective silver, and there appear to be grooves cut into the weapon as well.

Thor looks equally as terrifying with his red-and-silver armor. The hero is drawn with an impressive helmet that features extended wings, but not even his headgear can hide Thor’s luscious locks. As for his weaponry, Thor is seen toting a large hammer that looks a bit more intimidating than Mjlonir – but we also know the latter would likely take this oversized warhammaer to task.

Black Panther still looks as sleek as ever with his fantasy armor redesign, but he seems sharper – literally. The hero’s shoulder pieces are lined with blades alongside his arm cuffs. Black Panther’s gauntlets also feature lethal talons, and razor-sharp spires can be seen popping out of the hero’s knee guards to boot.
