According to The Daily Star, Cara Delevingne has been reseaching her role in David Ayer's Suicide Squad movie by seeing a psychotherapist.

The 22-year-old model-turned-actress recently landed the role of Enchantress in the film adaptation of DC Comics' Suicide Squad. In the comics, Enchantress is a character two separate personalities. There is June Moone who is kind-hearted and then there is the evil entity known as Enchantress that unleashed dark magic. June is always struggling to keep that evil entity at bay.

"Cara's character has a split personality so the role is a real challenge for her," a source told The Daily Star. "She's dedicated to doing her research for the movie and has been seeing her psychotherapist every day. Her character is very dark so she has a lot to learn about the way to act. To her, it's hilarious because in real life she's really cheery and laid-back, so she is struggling with the idea of playing a character so opposite."

Playing someone that appears to be schizophrenic can be a challenge for any actor, especially one that is newcomer, like Cara is. If it goes well, she could become the film's breakout star. If it goes poorly, director David Ayer will should most of the blame for taking a shot on an unproven actor.

Suicide Squad will land in theaters Aug. 5, 2016.
