Casper Crump to Play Vandal Savage on Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow and The Flash

The CW has announced that Casper Crump (Helium, Tarzan) will join their DC Television Universe as Vandal Savage.

Vandal Savage is described as "immortal, having spent the past 6,000 years moving like a virulent disease through history, whispering in the ears of despots and dictators, all leading to his eventual domination of the world."

Crump will first appear in the crossover episodes of Arrow & The Flash and then continue to recur in the role on DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

Based on the currently-available information, it seems Savage will be the Season One Big Bad for Legends of Tomorrow, and may recur after his initial "defeat," a la Merlyn from Season One of Arrow and Eobard Thawne/Harrison Wells from The Flash.
