Charlize Theron Joins Fast & Furious 8

Mad Max: Fury Road's Charlize Theron will be revving up some more engines but this time it won't be in the wasteland. The actress has joined the cast of Fast & Furious 8.

She'll be playing an all new character alongside the returning cast of Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and the rest of the gang.

Theron has played roles in several action films, with Mad Max: Fury Road appearing to be the pinnacle of them all. Previously, she had starred in 2003's The Italian Job and 2008's Hancock.

Fast & Furious 8 was written by Chris Morgan. It is set for release April 14, 2017.
