DC has announced via their blog The Source that this week's New 52 releases have all sold out in advance of their release tomorrow, meaning that all 52 new #1 titles have sold out and are headed back for seconds printings. "All 52 first issues have now sold out in advance of publication and each one of the first issues has received a second printing," Said Co-Publishers Jim Lee and Dan DiDio in a statement. "Backed by DC Entertainment's massive marketing campaign, dozens of retailer events, and hundreds of headlines from around the globe, this is a watershed moment for the comic book industry. It's the most significant publishing event in the last 25 years of this company's long and storied history." The same post also announced that 11 of the 52 titles had sold more than 100,000 copies to the direct market. Justice League, Batman and Action Comics have each sold more than 200,000, with more than 100,000 sales for Aquaman, Batgirl, Batman and Robin, Batman: The Dark Knight, Detective Comics, The Flash, Green Lantern and Superman. These numbers include additional printings on some of the titles but not digital sales.
