DC Comics has announced two new ongoing additions to their Batman line of comics: Arkham Manor and Gotham Academy (via EW).

Arkham Manor will be written by Gerry Duggan with art by Shawn Crystal. The series sees Wayne Manor turned into Gotham's new prison for the criminally insane. Naturally, things get complicated when a couple of the inmates wind up dead.

Gotham Academy takes place at the titular school, Gotham's most prestigious. The teen drama is written by Becky Cloonan and Brendan Fletcher, with art by Karl Kerschl. Bruce Wayne is one of the school's benefactors and other members of Batman's cape-and-cowl family and rogue's gallery will likely make appearances.

There was some confusion at first, so we reached out to the creators and artist Karl Kerschl confirms that Gotham Academy is in continuity.

Gotham Academy #1 goes on sale October 1. Arkham Manor #1 arrives October 22.
