Finally, it’s the superhero crossover everyone has been waiting for! When Kara’s nemesis Siobhan discovers she has supernatural powers and teams up with Livewire to get revenge, Kara turns to the newly arrived Flash for help. With Kara and Barry melting hearts whenever they speak, this week’s Supergirl is guaranteed to leave superhero fans with a big grin on their face.Without further ado, here’s five of the most shocking moment’s from “Worlds Finest”:

The Flash for the Save
The Flash sure knows how to make an entrance. ย The Fastest Man Alive made his first appearance on Earth-S when Siobhan (under the influence of the Silver Banshee) walked into CatCoย and literally screamed Kara out of a window. ย Luckily, the Flash chose that moment to burst through an interdimensionalย hole and grab an disoriented Kara before she hit the ground (and caused a scene). ย Rushing her outside of the city, Kara quickly let it slip that she was Supergirl…which clued Barry that he wasn’t on Earth-1 anymore. And that was how the Worlds Finest partnership was born!
Cat Grant Watches the CW
Thisย Supergirl/Flashย crossover was just the dose of adorable goofiness DC fans needed after watching the ultra-seriousย Batman V Supermanย movie last weekend. ย From the Flash showing off his powers by getting the gang ice cream to Kara and Barry bonding over their mutual love of donuts, it was hard not smiling whenever these two superheroes shared the screen. Barry’s tour of Kara’s world also had one of the real “laugh out loud” moments of the season when Cat compared Kara and her three guy friends toย an attractive, non-threatening and racially diverse cast of a CW show. I guess Earth-S has the CW too…only without all the DC superhero shows.ย
Winn Can’t Save Siobhan
When Silver Banshee and Livewire arrived at CatCo to kidnap Cat Grant, both Jimmy and Winn tried to save the day in their own…special way. ย After Livewireย stopped Jimmy from using his Superman watch to contact Supergirl, Winn tried a more…personable approach to stop Siobhan. Winn appealed to Siobhan’s better nature, reminding her of her erstwhile father and saying that she didn’t need to become a supervillainย to get what she wanted. ย While Siobhan seemed moved by her friend with benefits, the lure of killing both Kat and Kara was too much to overcome and Winn got a concentrated banshee scream in the chest for his trouble. ย At least Winn didn’t spend the whole episode moping like he usually does!
National City…Saves the Day?
Supergirl’s first superhero team-up didn’t end quite the way she expected. When Kara and Barry confronted Livewire and Silver Banshee at National City Park, the two were quickly overwhelmed despite Barry making some anti-sonic scream earplugs. ย Livewireย cornered the Flash on a rooftop and zapped him and then turned her powers on a helicopter flying overhead. Supergirlย intercepted Livewire’sย lightning bolt before it could damage the helicopter, saving an entire park full of spectators. ย Inspired by Supergirl’sย selfless act of bravery, the crowd rushed to defend her from Livewireย and Silver Banshee, distracting her just long enough for some firefighters to turn a firehose on Livewire, short circuiting her and electrocuting Banshee. ย I doubt either the Flash or Supergirlย expected National City’s public servants to save the day, but the result was just as good as a good ol’ superhuman brawl. ย Plus, Supergirlย finally won the confidence of National City back!ย
Myriad Has Begun
Talk about lousy timing. ย Kara finally asked Jimmy out in the dorkiest way possible (comparing herself and Jimmy to parallel Earths vibrating on the same frequency) before passionately kissing her longtimeย crush. ย However, Jimmy’s response wasn’t exactly what she had in mind. ย Instead of kissing her back or saying anything at all, Jimmy walked out the door with a blank look on hisย face and joined a line of people leaving the building. ย As a confused Kara watched hordes of people marching down the street, we saw Non declare that Myriad was operational. ย It looks like Myriad is a mind control device of some sort. ย Let’s just hope that Supergirlย and the DEOย can stop it before Non has an army of humans ready to do his bidding without question. ย
