Friday The 13th Reboot: David Bruckner In Negotiations To Direct

David Bruckner is in talks to helm the Paramount and Platinum Dunes reboot of Friday the 13th, according to The Wrap. Bruckner has previously direct The Signal and the "Amateur Night" portion of V/H/S. The reboot is being produced by Brad Fuller, Andrew Form and Michael Bay. No details as to the approach of the reboot have been revealed. A previous Friday the 13th reboot was attempted in 2009, directed by Marcus Nispel, but was not successful enough to warrant follow-up film. Friday the 13th is currently aiming for a released on Friday, March 13, 2015.
