HBO's Game of Thrones dominates on Sunday nights, but the show displays its dominance in other areas as well.
During Comcast's Watchathon Week, the cable provider compiles data on the shows that viewers consume on its Xfinity on-demand service (via Vulture). The HBO juggernaut takes the top spot as the most-watched entertainment series on the service, not only nationally, but also in all 16 major urban markets that Comcast currently operates in, including Boston, Atlanta, and Chicago.
More and more consumers keep up with their favorite shows via on-demand type services, and the fact that HBO continues to make all of it's current and past series so readily available greatly benefits their product.
Game of Thrones returns this Sunday.
