Just a friendly reminder for those of you who may have forgotten in the time since 1989: According to Ghostbusters II, the world will end today.
During one of the first scenes in Ghostbusters II, Peter Venkman is no longer busting ghosts, but instead communing with the other side on a supernatural talk show. He has guests who each have their own idea about when the world will end -- and one of them was quite certain it would be February 14, 2016.
"Valentine's Day," Venkman replied. "Bummer."

The new Ghostbusters film is being directed by Paul Feig, stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones and is the vanguard of a new cinematic universe of films inspired by the 1980s supernatural comedy.
It's due in theaters July 15.
