Harley Quinn And Her Gang Of Harleys Miniseries Announced

DC Comics has announced another new miniseries starring Harley Quinn. The comics publisher announced Harley Quinn and Her Gang of Harleys, a new six issue miniseries focusing on the "Gang of Harleys", a recently introduced group of assistants who report directly to Harley. According to ComicVine (who first reported on the miniseries), the comic will feature the Gang of Harleys stepping up to find their boss after she's kidnapped by a new enemy with a personal grudge. The series will be co-written by Frank Tieri and Jimmy Palmiotti with artwork by Mauricet.

The Gang of Harleys were introduced last year as assistants and allies of Harley, who relocated to New York City at the beginning of her solo series. Each member of the Gang of Harleys has a name inspired by Harley (such as Harlem Harley or Harvey Quinn) and wear costumes inspired by Harley's current look.

Harley Quinn has become one of DC's hottest characters last year. Harley's solo series, co-written by Palmiotti and Amanda Conner, is consistently one of DC's bestsellers each month. DC is now publishing a second series starring Harley, Harley's Little Black Book, and also announced a special one-shot starring the character and the Suicide Squad, which will also be published in April.

Harley and Her Gang of Harleys #1 will be released on April 13 and will run for six issues.
