A new Iron Man 3 featurette released on Gizmodo focuses on the armor technology. In the behind-the-scenes video, director Shane Black reveals that at the beginning of Iron Man 3 there are 42 suits of armor. It's interesting that he specifics at the beginning of the movie, because that suggests that additional suits of armor are created during the course of the movie. Most of the video focuses on the Mark 42 armor, which Tony Stark can call to him through subdermal implants. During the video, Robert Downey Jr. claims, "We wanted this film to have the best act three of them all, and we've achieved that." Iron Man 3 is scheduled to be released in theaters in the United States on May 3, 2013.
