While filming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales in Australia, star Johnny Depp sponsored an orphaned baby bat. The bat was named Jackie Sparrow, after Depp's Pirates character.
Depp stopped by the Australian Bat Clinic & Wildlife Trauma Centre to visit and bottle feed little Jackie, all while still in costume as the bat's namesake.
Johnny Depp.caught up with us again last week for an update on little Jackie Sparrow (The orphaned bat he is sponsoring). Here is a video of Dad bottle feeding his little orphaned baby. It's so fantastic to see him showing a genuine interest, and helping us raise awareness for bats!
