Avengers director Joss Whedon looks to give a couple of lucky fan the chance to visit the set of Avengers: Age of Ultron, while supporting a great cause. Whedon donated an exclusive Avengers: Age Of Ultron set visit to the Downtown Women's Centers to be auctioned off during their annual fundraising auction. Two lucky fans will get the first look at the Avengers: Age of Ultron, courtesy of set tour as the personal guest of writer/director Joss Whedon. Update: The Downtown Women's Center is auctioning off an exclusive on-set experience for the Avengers 2: Age of Ultron! As his personal guests, the winning bidder and a guest will meet writer/director Joss Whedon and visit the Avengers 2 set. Filming begins in London in Spring 2014 (airfare and accommodations not included). All auction proceeds go directly to the Downtown Women's Center. Special Instructions: Travel and hotel accommodations not included. Winner and guest will be asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement prohibiting photography and social media regarding your visit, and will be subject to a screening by Marvel security. The winning bidder will be shown around the set as the guest of Whedon during filming in London in Spring 2014. The set visit opens for bidding on October 3, 2013 and closes on October 13, 2013 along with the Center's other online auction items. Founded in 1978, the DowntownWomen's Center (DWC) is the only resource in Los Angeles that is exclusively dedicated to serving the unique needs of homeless and very low-income women in Skid Row. DWC serves over 4300 women a year at two locations by providing services including permanent supportive housing, three meals a day, a health clinic, the only mammogram screenings on Skid Row, and case management.The auction is held in conjunction with DWC's annual fall fundraising gala, Dinner With a Cause.
