Legends Of The Hidden Temple Host Join Nickelodeon's Movie Adaptation

Legends Host

The host of Nickelodeon's Legends of the Hidden Temple, Kirk Fogg, has joined the cast of the live-action adaptation movie by the same title.

In the movie, Fogg will play a key role which "pays homage to his duties" as the original show's host.

"When Nickelodeon asked me to be a part of the Legends of the Hidden Temple movie, I immediately went to the closet and pulled out my blue denim shirt, which has been protected by a powerful golden force field since 1995," said Fogg. "Legends is truly a legend, and I'm honored to be a part of it again. I'm sure the Ancient Olmec had something to do with this; that rock head is pretty sneaky."

The TV movie will follow three siblings who break away from a dull tour of a jungle and find themselves immersed in high-stakes adventure of obstacles which they must complete in order to escape. It will feature several elements of the original game show including Olmec, the talking head who knows the secrets behind the temples; the Steps of Knowledge, the entrance to the temple; and cameos from a green monkey, red jaguar, and silver snakes.

Legends of the Hidden Temple does not yet have a release date.
