Jeph Loeb, the head of Marvel Television, did an extensive interview with Entertainment Tonight, where he answered questions pertaining to Marvel's various TV projects.

Among those questions was one pertaining to a potential crossover between Netflix's first Marvel series, Daredevil, and its next series, Jessica Jones.

"Without giving anything away, they're in the same area," Loeb says. "In some cases they are in the same neighborhood. One of the things that is important to us is, when you enter the police station, it's the same police station. When you go to the hospital, you start to see the same people. [But] we don't want people suddenly going, 'Wait, is that Matt Murdoch that's walking down the street?' Because that's going to feel odd, and in a weird way feel false."

These Netflix series – Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist – were all announced as leading to one big crossover series, Defenders, so Matt Murdock meeting Jessica Jones seems pretty inevitable.

Jessica Jones is expected to premiere in late 2015. Daredevil Season 2 will be release in 2016.
