Disney's Moana doesn't hit theaters for a few months, but fans will finally get to see the main antagonist in action when NBC debuts the trailer during their coverage of the 2016 Olympics.
Not much is known about The Lava Witch, who has only been seen once at D23. She was shown in a single piece of art from the film, but in the latest sneak peak, the Witch looks a bit peeved. If your hair was on fire constantly, you'd probably be a bit angry too.
In addition to the Lava Witch, Moana stars Auli'i Cravalho (Moana), Dwayne Johnson (Maui), Jemaine Clement (Tamatoa), Rachel House (Gramma Tala), Temuera Morrison (Chief Tui), Nicole Scherzinger (Sina), and Alan Tudyk (Heihei), and is Directed by Ron Clements and John Musker. Both Directors are ecstatic about their cast and have enjoyed bringing this story to life on the big screen.
"Our assembled voice cast for this film is beyond our wildest dreams," said Musker. "We are so fortunate to have this group of talented actors, many from Oceania, breathing life into their characters."
Added Clements, "We are so thankful to have found such extraordinary people who not only capture the voices of these characters, they elevate them in every way."
The full trailer will air this Sunday on NBC, and Moana will hit theatres on November 23rd.
