You don’t have to wait any longer to play Mobius Final Fantasy, as the game can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play starting today. Mobius puts you in the shoes of a man who has lost his memory and ends up taking on a quest to find out just what the Warrior of Light prophecy really means, and figure out who he is in the process.
Accompanying the launch is a new trailer, which shows off the game’s impressive graphics. The goal for Square Enix with Morbius was to deliver a console sized RPG to the mobile space, and if it plays as good as it looks, they just might have succeeded.
The developers are promising in-depth character customization and ongoing live events to keep the community engaged, and that development team includes the talented Producer Yoshinori Kitase and Writer Kazushige Nojima, who are best known for their work on Final Fantasy VII as well as the upcoming remake.
To celebrate new players can redeem special items, including Final Fantasy X hero Tidus’s signature weapon called Brotherhood, a Yuna character card, ability tokens, and summon tickets. These will be available until August 31st.
Make sure to check out the launch trailer above as well as some new screens in the gallery.
