New Ratchet And Clank Clips Show The Duo At Their Best

Beloved video game icons Ratchet and Clank are set to make their theatric debut this month, showing audiences everywhere what gamers have known for quite awhile.

That Clank is the man.

Okay, Ratchet's cool too, but not as cool as Clank.

The film sports a great cast, including Paul Giamatti (Chairman Drek), John Goodman (Grimroth), and Rosario Dawson (Elaris), and from the clips we've seen the film exudes the same lighthearted charm that the games have contained for so many years.

The film follows the lombax Ratchet and the adorable robot Clank as they attempt to stop Chairman Drek from destroying the galaxy, one planet at a time. As you can see the animation is pretty stellar, and for the most part the humor in the clips lands, so hopefully that will be the case throughout the entire film.

Ratchet and Clank releases on April 29th.
