Showtime has released two new character posters for the second season of Penny Dreadful.
The first character poster features Sir Malcolm, played by Timothy Dalton, apparently screaming in pain or anguish.
The second features the mysterious Semebene, played by Danny Sampani, looking skyward.
Penny Dreadful returns to Showtime for its second season on May 3.
