Before today, everyone was calling the fifth Pirates sequel Pirates Of The Caribbean 5, but now an official name has been revealed.
According to This Is Infamous, Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 will be called Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. They cite directors Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg as the source for their information. The title was reportedly revealed during an interview with the pair about the Blu-ray released of their Oscar-nominated film Kon-Tiki.
In addition to revealing the title, the directors also revealed that the movie would be both a stand-alone adventure as well as tying back into the overall mythology of the series. Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is scheduled to be released on July 10, 2015.
