With its first international trailer debuting yesterday, the marketing campaign for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is officially underway.
To celebrate, AMC Theatres recent unveiled a piece of concept art corresponding with the film. And it shows something that's certainly a first for the popular franchise - zombie sharks.
While the idea of zombie sharks might sound like something out of a Syfy original movie, it makes sense within the world of the film. With Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem) possessing the ability to control the undead, it would be a logical step to have his reach extend to animals as well.
Fans will just have to wait until May 26th, 2017 to see if the undead sharks do make their way into Dead Men Tell No Tales, and what exactly their role in the film will be.
