Update: WWE has officially announced the induction of Snoop Dogg into this year's Hall of Fame class. No word yet on who is doing the honors of his induction, but it could very well be his cousin, Sasha Banks.
Today, the WWE Network sent out an email that contained a reminder about the Hall of Fame ceremony airing Saturday night, the eve before WrestleMania.
On it was displayed the current announced inductees of this year's class including Sting, Big Boss Man, the Godfather, and the Fabulous Freebirds. In the mix though was none other than Snoop D-O-Double G.
Snoop is a known wrestling fan and has appeared numerous times on RAW and SmackDown throughout the decades, getting entangled with the Superstars of the WWE more than once.
For those uninitiated, Snoop isn't going in on his wrestling merits, the WWE Hall of Fame has a celebrity wing that also has a roster of the likes of comedian Drew Carey, Pete Rose, and even Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump.
Though unconfirmed by the WWE, the announcement could come tonight on Raw.
