Rise Of The Tomb Raider Trailer Released

Crystal Dynamics has announced Rise of the Tomb Raider, the sequel to 2013's Tomb Raider

The announcement from E3 was accompanied by a short trailer for the game which has been released online and is embedded below. The trailer shows Lara Croft struggling with adjusting to normal life after the ordeal she faced in the first game and then seemingly accepting her new life as an adventurer.

The game will follow directly after the events of the Tomb Raider comic book series currently being written by Gail Simone.

Tomb Raider has been greatly praise for reinventing a franchise that many believed long past its peak. The game went back to Lara Croft's early days as an inexperienced traveller trying to survive on an island full of hostiles following a shipwreck.

Rise of the Tomb Raider does not have a release date yet. It will be available on Xbox One. No other consoles were named for release as of yet.
