Scooby Doo Reboot Movie In The Works

Warner Bros. is in the early stages of rebooting the Scooby Doo film franchise, according to Deadline.

Warner Bros. previously adapted the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon into a live action film starring Freddie Prinze Jr, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard, Linda Cardellini and Isla Fisher as "the gang." The film was directed by Raja Gosnell and grossed $268 million at the box office, enough for Warner Bros. and Gosnell to reteam for a sequel two years later.

The new film will be a complete series makeover, with new actors and a new director. Randall Green has been tapped to write.
