Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Adam Driver To Host Saturday Night Live

NBC has announced that Adam Driver (Girls) will host Saturday Night Live!

Driver will host the sketch comedy series on January 16. That's nearly a month after the release of his biggest film yet: Star Wars: The Force Awakens. In it, he plays the masked-villain, Kylo Ren. Luckily for him, The Force Awakens will still be fresh on the mind of viewers when makes his first SNL appearance.

No musical guest has been announced yet. Although, I'm holding out hope that Driver performs some of those goofy and amazing sound effects he utilized in "Please Mr. Kennedy" song from the Coen brothers movie Inside Llewyn Davis.

In this continuation of the Star Wars saga, balance returns to the Force as the First Order, emerging from the ashes of the Empire, clashes with the Resistance, which includes scrappy newcomers as well as heroes from the former Rebel Alliance.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is now playing at your local theater.
