Ninja Turtles 2013

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot got off to a rock start when producer Michael Bay revealed that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would be aliens. Things didn't get any better when it was revealed that the title of the movie would be Ninja Turtles, since the turtles would no longer be teenagers or mutants. At the MTV Movie Awards, actor Alan Ritchson, who is playing Raphael, spoke out in defense of the movie to The Hollywood Reporter. Alan Ritchson said, "The frustrating thing for me since I've signed on is you sort of hear that it's already got a reputation, this movie that hasn't come out yet. I think people assume they know what it's going to be about, and those people are wrong. The assumptions, everything you read online is wrong." Ritchson added, "It's frustrating because You want to tell everybody how great it is, and you can't really say why, but it is, and it's so much better than people think. And I promise that. And it's going to look way better than anybody can imagine."
